Autism Nutrition & Feeding Support

Autism often comes with nutrition challenges that extend far beyond picky eating. From gut issues and nutrient deficiencies to sensory-based feeding difficulties, we help identify what's getting in the way and build a personalized plan that works for your child and your family.

You’re Not Alone

Mealtimes have become the hardest part of the day.

You want your child nourished and comfortable, without the pressure, the gagging, or the shrinking list of safe foods. There is a gentler path.

This sounds like you if…

A diet that’s shrunk to a handful of safe foods
Constipation, reflux or other gut issues
You’re weighing a GFCF (gluten-free/casein-free) diet
Strong sensory aversions to textures or smells
Concerns about nutrient gaps and growth
Mealtimes feel overwhelming for the whole family

FAQ

Autism nutrition questions, answered

Can gut health really affect my child’s symptoms?

Many autistic children experience gut issues, and the gut–brain connection can influence comfort, sleep and behavior. Supporting digestion often helps the whole picture.

Is a GFCF diet right for us?

Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t and it shouldn’t be done blindly. We assess your child individually and, if we trial it, do so safely while protecting nutrition.

How do you expand safe foods?

Gradually and without pressure, using food-chaining and sensory-aware steps that build on foods your child already accepts.

What about supplements?

Only what’s indicated after assessment, coordinated with your physician.

Do you work with our therapy team?

Yes, we coordinate with OTs, SLPs and feeding therapists so everyone is aligned.
