Picky Eating Help From a Registered Dietitian
If your child eats from a shrinking list of "safe" foods and every new bite turns into a battle, you're not doing anything wrong. With a pediatric dietitian's evidence-based, low-pressure approach, the plate can widen, calmly and for good.
Dinner has turned into a daily negotiation.
You’re cooking separate meals, quietly worrying about nutrition, and dreading new foods as much as your child does. Selective eating is incredibly common, and it responds to the right support.

Food chaining is the proven, step-by-step technique behind much of our picky eating work, building tiny bridges from foods your child already loves toward new ones. See the full method with real examples.

When does picky eating become a problem?
Occasional refusal is normal. It’s worth getting help when the accepted-foods list keeps shrinking (often under 15–20 foods), whole food groups drop off, mealtimes are distressing, or you’re worried about growth and nutrition. A pediatric dietitian can assess whether it’s typical picky eating or something more.
Will my child just grow out of it?
Some do, but waiting can entrench patterns and create nutrition gaps. Early, low-pressure support makes change easier.
Do I have to force foods?
Never. Pressure backfires, our entire approach is low-pressure and child-led, using gradual exposure and food chaining.
Can you help with sensory sensitivities?
Yes. We work with your child’s sensory profile, not against it, and coordinate with feeding therapists or OTs when helpful.
A wider plate is possible, gently.
